Do You Have $8.6 Million to Spend?

Don't feel bad most of us don't. That's why this 12,500 square foot estate that is up for sale in California made it on the Drool Thursday list this week. It has 6 bedrooms and 12 baths. The outside contains a grotto "water world" as the ad calls it, horse stables, a riding rink, tennis court, sitting areas, and much more. The inside has a movie theater, spa, wine cellar, and game room. Take a look at it for yourself HERE.

Romantic Vacation in Paridise...

No that's not the ocean your looking at, that's the world largest pool in Chile. It's 20 acres, at the deepest 115 ft and holds 66 million gallons of salt water. Its located at the San Alfonso Del Mar.

I was reading an article on the top 10 most amazing pools in the world and my mouth dropped when I saw this, and immediately started planning my trip haha. I am not good at Spanish so I tried my best to get through the site to see pricing and it looked like for a week in the middle of June the price is $50 a night! There was package that I saw for 2 weeks for $650, I don't even think you could spend that for a half a week during off season in most places in North America. Honestly if I saw this place, same time last year my husband and I would have been going there for our honeymoon. I am not going to get into much of what the San Alfonso Del Mar is all about because like I said I don't understand Spanish all to well so I don't want miss speak, just take a look at the link above and it will tell you everything. In the mean time just look at the pictures and drool over paradise.

Designer Trailer Park??

I know I haven't been consistant with the Monday and Tuesday posts, but I am having some HUGE writers block on those days. I was lucky to have gotten Monday out. If I can come up with something without taring my hair out you will get a double post some time this week. Alright so now lets get to your Mid Week Blues post!

Yep its Wednesday again, to me this is the hardest day of the week. Everything that I haven't gotten done that week slaps me in the face on Wednesday, then everything I need to get done on Thursday and Friday is like "Yep I'm Still Here!" I need to learn how to delegate my time better :-\. But the important stuff does get done like my orders and answering peoples emails, so as long as I have those done I guess my week is complete. The rest is just extra. While I was looking through every website I could find and read every article I saw for Tuesdays post, I came across this lovely.

There is a hotel in Cape Town, South Africa called "The Grand Daddy". It has all the normal things a grand hotel would have, a restaurant, bar, hotel rooms, suites, and a penthouse all with terrific style. The unique part is that its penthouse is surrounded by the rooftop trailer park! Yup you heard right this hotel has its own trailer park. Each has its own style, designed by local artists.

Other then these, they also have sitting areas, a bar, and a movie theater showing older movies all right there on the roof. In the height of the season you can expect to spend 1250 Rand which is $199 per night. In the off season about $129.

Spas from around the world...

While I was looking for cool blue things yesterday I came across a spa in South America that was gorgeous. After dealing with these freezing temperatures all I want to do is sit in a sauna or hot tub and roast. So of course I was drooling all over my screen looking at all the beautiful pictures. So here ya go, wonderful spas from around the world....

The Nautilus House..

This is the Nautilus House in Mexico City. After seeing the second picture it it was like Wonka's wonderland and from the outside it looks like it could be a little seaside village church. The thought behind this home was; " the metaphor was to feel like an internal inhabitant of a snail, like a mollusk moving from one chamber to another, like a symbiotic dweller of a huge fossil maternal cloister."

Dream in An Artistic Room...

What I have for you on this Wednesday to cheer you up, and maybe put a little smile on your face is a hotel in Denmark called the Hotel Fox. The rooms of course caught my eye, which I am sure catches every ones eye when they first see this remarkably unique hotel.

Each room is a work of art and is painted by different artists all over the world. As a artist I drool over designing one of these rooms to show off to unexpected tourists, eager for something unique and festive. For some reason this style for a hotel is very Japanese to me, they seem very Anime like to me, a boutique hotel you would find in Japan on New York City, and for a price of about $300 a night it tops off that fee.

Here are just some of the rooms, you can see more at the Hotels website;

Laugh of the Day!

Lipstick
According to a news report, a certain private school recently was faced with a unique problem. A number of middle school girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.Every night, the maintenance man would remove them and the next day, the girls would put them back. Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the maintenance man who had to clean the mirrors every night. To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror. There are teachers, and then there are educators.

Drool Over This Ceremony Spot

This place has to be the most beautiful ceremony spot that I have ever seen. Its called the Infinity Chapel in Bali. They describe it as "the building’s simple off set triangle shape represents a romantic angle towards the heavens, while its physical attributes of marble, glass and steel are each metaphors for the male and female bodies and their interactions with each other as a couple. The remarkable steel framed glass wall that makes up the north side of the triangle embodies the delicate and nurturing characteristics of the bride as she supports the equally impressive marble south side, the stoic groom", how incredible is that description?

It can fit up to 60 people and I have seen some package quotes of around $5,000, that also includes boutonnieres and a bunch of other things that make the price seem not so pricey. But for that beauty I would pay anything. The walk way out to the water surrounded chapel is explained like you are not on this planet, because there is nothing around it. The pool is filled with dark river rock which brings that whole sarene zen feel all together. I don't think there is much I have to say, it speaks for itself.
