Glow In The Dark Furniture

For drool Thursday I am going to be talking about a feature I found on AOL's Shelter Pop yesterday, Glow in the dark furniture. Not only would they be a cool feature to a party but a wonderful night light and electricity saver. Its not just one company that supplies these cool chairs, pillows, tables, etc.. but its becoming a new trend for designers all over the world.

I wonder why this wasn't thought of before. Its nothing different then the tables with the lights from beneath or the glow stars you put on your kids ceilings. They have made glow in the dark paint for years, this should have just been a given. If you look at there feature, only a few items are actually glow in the dark most are light up furniture which they have been doing for years.

The lighted console is "Coated with ELI (Eco Light Inside), an eco-friendly material developed by the designer, which creates a realistic, glowing effect when the lights go out." Also whats cool about this piece is a CD accompanies it with special music made up for this piece. Its like your own light show! The rest of the details can be found HERE.

The Glow in the dark stool is actually lighted instead, not actually "Glow in the Dark" the designers behind this also have a wonderful array of other light up furniture at Moree.
The next question should be, is it possible to make good looking glow in the dark material to reupholster furniture in?
